Without a birth certificate you cannot get a license/ID, without a license/ID you can’t do MANY things in our society. Second Presbyterian Church, Richmond, VA offered a community lunch where attorneys from Legal Aid Justice Center were able to met Mr. W.
Mr. W was discussing the barriers to getting back on his feet and a major block was obtaining his birth certificate.
Along with the support and work of the other two organizations, Rainy Day Fund was able to pay for the vital record process help Mr. W get on track!
